  Good Marston's, but limited NY the Marston's menu. Would be improved of there was chilli con carne or more pasta options.

  Brilliant Sunday Carvery.Arrived earlier than arranged but wasn't a problem.Staff very obliging.Food marvellous and stress free service.Great "local pub" atmosphere.Kids getting free Jelly and Ice Cream was the icing on the cake.Thanks a lot.Will certainly highly recommend the Rose and Crown and look forward to out next visit.

  We have been a few times for Sunday Lunch and in the week .the food is fantastic.the staff are very friendly and helpful .it's the best thing in Brailsford. .well done to the new owners .there .we went down Boxing Day ..food was excellent. The Staff were really helpful. And we're more then willing to change my soup for me as did not like mushrooms. With truffles soup ..John and Diane are doing a great job .well done ..keep up the good work

  Used to be our regular Sunday carvery treat. Excellent value but the sad Yorkshires spoil it. Bit rude too. One couple who had only just finished their last mouthful of food had an extra chair thrust under their table by one of the staff and made it rather obvious they were keen to have them on their way to make room for the next diners. I know it's important to keep things moving when their are bookings but there are other, more subtle and polite ways to do this.
